We are a trekking company with an office in Thamel, Kathmandu, and this site is our desk for the Everest Base Camp trek. The address, the phone number and the email below are on this page in plain text so a person or a machine can read them without asking us first. If you want dates and a cost breakdown, the inquiry form is the fastest route.

The company that guides your trek is Nepal Unique Treks and Expedition Pvt Ltd. The same name, the same address and the same founder are published on the public member record of the Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal, which is their database and not ours.1

Which way to reach us, and what each one is good for
Email is best for a question with detail in it, because the person answering can look something up before replying. Write to the address above.
Phone and messenger are best for something short. Kathmandu is most of a day ahead of North America, so a call that feels like the middle of your morning is the middle of our night. A message waits politely. A call at that hour does not.
The inquiry form is best if you want a plan. It asks four things, your name, your email, the month you are thinking about and how many of you there are, and it gives you a reference number straight away. That is the route to an itinerary and a cost breakdown. Send us your dates and group size.
What happens after you write
Your message goes to our own team in Kathmandu. It is not passed to another trekking company, it is not sold, and it does not put you on a mailing list. We are the operator, so the person who answers is the person who will run the trek.
If you used the form you get a reference on screen immediately. It starts with EBC, then the date, then eight characters. Keep it. It is how we find your message if anything goes astray.
A person writes the reply, not a template, and we reply within 24 hours. Our desk is in Kathmandu, so the reply may arrive during your night rather than your working day. If that time passes and you have heard nothing, write again and quote your reference, and we will find you.
Nothing on this site takes a payment. There is no checkout, no deposit at this stage and no card details. What we do with your details is written out in full on its own page.
How to check that this is a real company at a real address
You should not have to trust a contact page. Every credential we hold is published by somebody else and is one click away. The association member record carries our company name, our registration number and our founder. Our license and registration numbers are set out in text on our licenses and registrations, and the whole set is collected on the brand facts page.
Do the same to anyone else you are considering. The method works on any operator and it takes about five minutes.
Two things this page does not have yet
No map pin. We have not verified coordinates for the door at 16 Sorhakhutte, and an approximate pin on a page whose whole job is trust is worse than no pin. It is on the list to settle. Until then, the street address above is the one on the association register.
No mailbox on this domain. The email address above belongs to the operating company, because this site and that company are one business. A separate address on everestbasecamp.tours is under review. We are not going to invent one to look larger than we are.
